Welcome to Anti TAKS, a site against the TAKS Test. The TAKS Test is a standarized test that is hurting the education in Texas. For starters, public schools usually ONLY teach about the TAKS. They never get to teach their own schedules, because they have to teach off of something called TEKS.. something that gets you prepared for the TAKS.

Ever since TAKS has been around, students have learned, but only about the TAKS Curriculum. As some say.. "You learn about the test, but nothing else." This is very true, and most people, including students and teachers especially, can agree with this.

Please browse our site, and urge Texas to stop the TAKS Test.

Running a campaign is a significant challenge. It is difficult to get a message out to as many people as possible in a short time. This web site is a great way to quickly introduce ourselves and educate visitors on the key issues of the campaign.

Perry supports the TAKS Test, which is why we urge everyone to not support Rick Perry. Even though I'm a Democrat, I would say yes to Strayhorn, simply because I don't think that Bell would make the best canidate.
